Fire V210 findet keine Disks

Hi,

ich verbringe jetzt schon den halben Tag damit diese blöde V210 zum laufen zu bekommen; folgendes Problem:
2 SCSI-Disks sind drinnen, die LED's blinken beim einschalten der Maschine und ALOM merkt wenn ich die Disks rein/rausnehme.

Das OBP meint, dass kein SCSI-Device vorhanden ist.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher was <Device/Slot Disabled> bedeutet - auch sunsolve hat keine Info's darüber.
Ich befürchte fast einen defekten SCSI-Controller...

Das kommt auch gerne, wenn Du ein Problem mit der Terminierung hast.
Prüfe doch mal alle Kontakte und Verbindungen.

Ist das eine neue Maschine, oder hat da schon mal einer wild gebastelt?
Ich würde mal mit einem set-defaults die OBP Variablen glatt ziehen und dann
einen Powercycle. Mal schauen was dann geht.

Nein, die ist leider nicht neu (auch keine Garantie mehr); ist allerdings bis vor kurzem problemlos gelaufen.
set-defaults hab ich schon versucht, hat leider nichts gebracht...

geh mal ins alom und setz dort ein "help" ab..... ich glaube es gibt von dort aus die möglichkeit komponenten zu disablen bzw. zu enablen. sieht so aus als wäre der scsi controller auf disabled. ich hab leider keine 210 zur hand um das mal auszutesten.

Sieh mal mit .asr nach, ob etwas disabled wurde.

In diesem Fall waere ein asr-clear das Komando der Wahl.

Danke, das wars - die Kiste funktioniert wieder.
Im ALOM-Handbuch ist dieses Kommando allerdings nicht angeführt...
