Nichts bleibt so wie es ist --- Links können sich ändern !!!

Insbesondere das zweite Posting ist interessant, da es vom Author der Anleitung stammt !

http://lios.apana.org.au/~cdewick/data/ultra30_cpu.htmlHmm, this document states that the jumper J3001 should not be changed.
I have a 400MHz CPU in my U30, and set the jumper to 2-3. This lets
the CPU run at 400MHz without any fiddling in the OBP:
sauron [~]> /usr/sbin/prtdiag -v
System Configuration: Sun Microsystems sun4u Sun Ultra 30 UPA/PCI
(UltraSPARC-II 400MHz)
System clock frequency: 100 MHz

OK, while 450/480MHz CPU:s work, I only managed to get them running at 400MHz
due to bug in the OBP. Anyway, 4MB of cache will be recognized so there is
still a slight benefit over the 2MB Ultra 2/E250 400MHz CPU.
You might get 450/480MHz CPU:s running at their native speed if you are a
master of OBP/Forth, maybe extracting some code from U60/E220.
