Hallo alle miteinander!
Hatte endlich mal wieder Zeit mich mit meinen Maschinen zu beschaeftigen.
Habe schon seit laengerem ein 6-Bay MultiPack herumstehen und mir nun endlich ein paar Platten und passende SCSI Kabel gekauft.
An die 420r angeschlossen und
geht nicht!!
Also mal zur beschreibung des Setups:
Sun 6-Bay Multipack mit einem 0.8 Meter SCSI kabel HD68 auf HD68 an der 420R angeschlossen.
5 Slots im Multipack belegt: 4 mit 73GB Ultra320 Platten und eine 36GB Ultra160 Platte.
ID Schalter am Multipack auf 1-6 und die beiden gruenen Leds unterhalb des Schalters leuchten.
Nun zuerst mal im PROM ein

Also ich logge mich mit root und meinem Passwort ein und dann.....nichts.....
Nur das SCSI-Warnung kommt noch, kommt aber natuerlich auch wenn ich mich nicht einlogge.
Danach ist auf der Seriellen stille, ich kann druecken was ich will, es kommt kein Prompt.
Die Maschine lebt nocht, ich kann mich per SSH einloggen, aber sobald ich da format oder etwas in der Art aufrufe steht auch das SSH Terminal.
Wenn ich das Multipack abstecke funktioniert die Macshine wie gehabt...
Weiss nicht recht weiter...

Ok nachdem ich die Platten alle neu gelabelt habe funktionieren sie wie gewollt.....
Ich komm immer erst dann darauf was es war wenn ich schon jemanden um Hilfe gebeten habe.... Roll Eyes
