Danach passiert nichts mehr, keine Rekation auf das Breaksignal oder auf sonst etwas...

Das ist sehr seltsam. Seriell (d.h. ohne angehängte Tastatur) müsste er eigentlich nach "Can't open input device" ins OBP kommen. Boote mal mit angeschlossener Tastatur und drücke nach dem Einschalten STOP-N, dann setzt er das NVRAM zurück.

Solange keine (direkt angeschlossene) Tastatur erkannt wird, kommt auch nichts auf dem Bildschirm. Wahrscheinlich ist ein Stift im Tastaturstecker verbogen.
Ich würde empfehlen solange mit der seriellen Console zu arbeiten, bis das NVRAM richtig programmiert ist. Außerdem solltest du dir eine Kommando-Referenz für OBP beschaffen. Die SS2 hat OBP 2 (die Handbücher dafür nennen keine Versionnummer, spätere Versionen sind 3 und 4, was auch dann im Titel steht). Suche einfach auf docs.sun.com die ältesten Dokumente mit dem Stichwort OBP (.. im Titel).
Hast du eigentlich auch ein externes SCSI-CD-Laufwerk und (alte) Solaris Medien ?
