Der Chip von dem Controller ist ein LSI53C1010-66 B1 der scheint anscheint wirklich nicht unter Open Solaris zu laufen. In der HCL rückwärts zu suchen ist nicht gerade einfach, da ich nicht weiß wo die SCSI-Controller einsortiert sind. Die meisten sind auch Controller für 64 Bit PCI.
Ich habe mir nun einen anderen Controller besorgt, einen LSI SYM22802. Der steht zwar nicht in der HCL aber der läuft auf Arbei in einer 220R. Der ncrs-Treiber scheint nicht wirklich zu funktionieren. Ich habe in einen Blog gefunden, dass man den Controller mit dem glm-Treiber betreiben sollte. Irgendwas klappt immer noch nicht. Ich befürchte ich habe ein Problem mit dem Interrupts. Wenn ich ein Bandlaufwerk am Controller habe, dann bootet Solaris nicht durch. Um das System hoch zu bekommen, habe ich dann das Bandlaufwerk vom Controller getrennt

Wie es aussieht sind Interrups wirklich doppelt vergeben. Wie kann ich das ändern? Zumindest im Controller-BIOS sind die Interrupts auf 5 bzw. 10.
Ich bin noch am googeln. Ich bin aber über Eure Hilfe dankbar.
Der Controller läuft bei Sun unter der Part-No. 375-0006 Ich habe aber noch kein Handbuch gefunden. Es gibt eine Reihe Jumper, mit denen könnte man evtl. das Interruptproblem lösen, wenn ich nur wüsste welche das sind...
