Tschokko, bist du dir sicher, dass du einen Opteron in der Kiste verbaut bekommen hast? Vielleicht ist das ja wirklich ein i386-System mit "64-Bit Erweiterungen", natürlich extrem gekühlt und hochgetaktet.
Na klar, ich hab meinen 1,4 GHz Tualatin ausgegraben, ne Wakü montiert, den Takt hochgedreht und bißchen den Befehlssatz erweitert damit die CPU 64-bit versteht.
Ansonsten sieht das ganz nett aus mit den zwei fetten TFTs.
Ein Meter Bildschirmfläche ist in der Tat beeindruckend.
Worüber ich aber total glücklich bin, wie einfach das eigentlich selbst unter Solaris gegangen ist. Ich musst halt ein wenig in der xorg.config herumbauen, wobei das wirklich nichts besonders Kompliziertes war. Seht selbst:

Wichtig sind nur die zwei Device Sections, dort insbesonders der BusID Eintrag, dann die zwei Monitor Sections und die zwei Screen Sections. Zusammengeführt wird alles im ServerLayout und damit Xorg die Xinerama Erweiterung nutzt muss man
Option "Xinerama" "true" zu den ServerFlags hinzufügen.
Steck ich jetzt noch ne zweite FX 560 in den Kasten kann ich noch zwei weitere Monitore anschließen. Also das ist doch mal ausbaufähig.
