Sun xVM VirtualBox 2.0 mit Support für 64-Bit Guest-OS

Was möchtest denn genau wissen?
Mein Problem war, dass ich nicht wie bei VMWare einfach die VM kopieren und auf den Hostrechnern verteilen kann. Ich kann in die VirtualBox keine bereits erstellten VMs importieren sondern nur die Festplatten davon.

Du konntest das Festplatten-Image problemlos auf den zweiten PC übertragen, musstest dann die VM aber neu erstellen, da sich die komplette Installation nicht importieren lies. Ok, jetzt habe ich es auch verstanden.

Aber das ist leider kein Bug, sondern ein Feature.
Und von da an fingen die Probleme an, am zweiten PC ließ sich das XP-Image nicht mehr starten, obwohl es die gleiche Config war... Da war für mich dann klar, dass VirtualBox für den Produktivbetrieb, wie ich ihn mir vorstelle, noch nicht geeignet ist.
